I got an RMA for Newegg store credit only, no refunds sorry. I attempted to contact Hannspree via email but got ZERO response, not even an automated response, so this is A VERY bad sign. Overall Review: I received a defective unit, it ran nice when i could get it booted up, but the problem seemed to be the harddrive or the power control from the motherboard. Customer Service is very suspect? A tech product may only be good as the Customer Service that backs it in the end. It gets a bit warm when running high end programs, may be to uncomfortable for long periods if you use it on your lap. I own a tiny Acer One 8.9" netbook that's 3 years old and it has almost the same audio quality of this larger unit. Pros: Price, nice bright screen, fairly sleek & slender profile, battery life was over 4 hours on mid applications, ran my HD videos well.Ĭons: Internal speakers are weak, its a relatively small notebook I know, but even still at 12.1" it seems it could have been made somewhat better.
